A core principal of the Bionic Bruins is to spark interest in technology and learning, regardless of age. Outreach, especially towards younger engineers, is essential in order to provide those with fewer opportunities access to creative and exciting technology, as well as to inspire the future engineers of tomorrow to find new beginnings in technology.
Union District STEAM Nights
Throughout September and October, the Bionic Bruins visit different elementary schools in the area as part of the STEAM nights hosted by the Union Elementary School District.
Freshmen Education Days
In order to integrate new members into the club, we organized educational workshops for Freshmen. Throughout the workshops we taught the fundamentals of VEX robotics, and introduced them to our club.
